Perennial Problems
  • The box plants are looking very unhealthy and showing signs of disease. Should the bushes be destroyed or can this be treated.
  • The quince trees in our garden have brown rusty leaves. We have tried spraying, but it comes back year after year, and in seven years, we have not had a single quince.
  • The ground elder has taken over in the borders this year, and is very difficult to remove from around the plants without digging them up.
  • What is the correct way to deadhead roses? Sometimes we are told to snap off the dead roses, or to cut down to two inches below.
